2nd Annual Bobby Davis Coaches Appreciation Dinner

Tuesday night July 19th was a night of reflection, fun and food. The Cordele Lions Club sponsored their 2nd annual Bobby Davis Coaches Appreciation Supper.
The Coaching staffs of both Crisp County and Crisp Academy were invited for an awesome meal, door prizes and a local sports trivia contest. Lion Jay Brinson gave a discussion on the naming of the supper after long time coach and educator Bobby Davis. Lion Bub Denham gave a talk on coaches’ influence and then the invocation. Sheriff Hancock and Joe Joe Wright officiated a sports question and answer session on sports history in the area. Some of the questions were tough but overall the coaches came up with a lot of correct answers. Overall approximately 60 persons enjoyed the delicious meal.
