CORDELE — Norman Randall “Randy” West passed away Thursday, August 25, 2016 at his residence.

Randy was a native of Cordele and the son of the late James D. and Rheba Cordell Smith West. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Margaret “Peggy” McGah West of Americus and sisters, Mary Bell Reeves of Cleveland and Vicki Jo Simmons of Arabi.

Randy was an avid reader and enjoyed playing musical instruments, fishing and nature.

He is survived by a brother and his wife, James Donald and Jeanette West of Lake City, FL and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.
