The Lady Cougars played host to the Tift County Lady Blue Devils only they were not hospitable handing the 7A team a 7-4 whooping. Freshman Rilee Duckworth took the mound for the lady cats and kept the devils off balance by striking out 3 and walking 2 over 4 innings. She was relieved in the 4^th inning by Hunter Meadows who walked 3 and had 4 k’s and no runs scored to get the win.

On offense the lady cats got a 3 for 4 performance with two singles and a triple from Freshman Riley Blampied. Meadows also added 3 hits and a stolen base.  Mia Murray and Shelby Cobb both went 2 for 3 in the Lady Cougars win.” The girls played well and worked through any mistakes made,” said Head Coach Ben Robbins. The Big Cats visit Cook County Thursday afternoon for their first region game.
