LEESBURG — Ramona Patrick Smith, 64, of Lee County, GA, died August 31, 2016 at Doctor’s Hospital of Augusta.  Funeral services will be held Monday at 11:00 AM at The First Baptist Church of Leesburg.  Dr. Todd Sullens and Jim Thurman will officiate.  Committal services will follow at 3:00 PM at Bertha Dozier Memorial Park Cemetery in Montezuma, GA.

A native of Montezuma, GA, Ramona moved with her family to Albany, GA in 1965.  She graduated from Albany High School in 1969 and Albany Junior College (Darton) in 1971.  Ramona lived in Warwick, GA moving to Lee County, GA in 1987.  She was a very active member of the First Baptist Church of Leesburg where she was also a former Sunday School Teacher.  Ramona was a homemaker and very involved with her children at their schools with PTA, sports and other activities.  She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Shirley Elaine Smith and more recently a son, Tyler Andrew Smith.

Survivors include her husband, Glenn H. Smith of Lee County, GA, two sons, Kyle Patrick Smith and his wife, Annick of Warwick, GA and Clay Hall Smith and his wife, Dana of Lee County, GA, a daughter, Lacey Ragin and her husband, Clint of Lee County, GA, her father and mother, E.M. (Bo) and Ruthel A. Patrick of Warwick, GA, a sister, Nancy Patrick Brumbelow and her husband, Tommy of Shellman, GA, a brother, E. Milton Patrick, Jr. and his wife, Tina of Warwick, GA and seven grandchildren, Jessica Ragin, Cole Ragin, Brylie Ragin, Brooklynn Ragin, Tristan Adams, Emerson Smith and Ireland Smith.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM Sunday, September 4, 2016 at Mathews Funeral Home.
