The Lady Cougars improved to 5-7 on the year and 1-2 in region play after their 17-9 win over visiting Peach County. The winning pitcher was Rilee Duckworth. She struck out 5 batters and walked 4 with 6 hits over 6 innings. The offensive leaders for the game were Jordan Dickerson who went 3 for 4, Ivy Lewis was 2 for 3, Sydney Peavy was 3 for 5 and Shelbi Cobb went 2 for 4 on the day. The Ladies host region opponent Cook County in a JV/Varsity doubleheader Tuesday September 13 starting at 4pm.
