The Crisp Academy Wildcats faced off against the John Hancock Academy Rebels last night for their first home game in over a month.  Last night was Senior Night, and the home side was packed.  The Wildcats won the coin toss and elected to receive.  After a series of plays the first touchdown of the evening was a pass completed by #14, Bobby Ray Mitchell. The PAT was good, completed by #7, QB Griffin Gravitt.  The Rebels received the ball and were quickly stopped by the Wildcats defense.  Upon reception of the ball, the Wildcats completed yet another quick drive into the end zone. With the PAT no good, that would bring the score up to 14-0, Wildcats.   The Rebels did manage to sneak past the CA defense and brought the score up to 14-6, Wildcats.  They then kicked off to the Wildcats who drove the ball up the field quickly into the end zone, run in by #14. After a successful PAT, the Wildcats would end the first quarter at 22-6.

With the CA defense stopping the John Hancock offense after a few plays, the ball was once again in the hands of the home side where #4, Gaige Little, would run the ball into the end zone for yet another Wildcat touchdown.  Just like before, the Wildcats defense would stop the Rebels before they made any significant yardage and would receive the ball.  Yet another touchdown by the Wildcats, this time a completed pass by #80, Garrett Holt. The Rebels would once again be held back by the CA defense, and the final touchdown of the half would be a 66 yard completed pass to #2, Devin Howard. That would bring the score to 45-6 at the buzzer, in favor of the Wildcats.

In the third quarter, after a quick attempt by the Rebels, the Wildcats would run in the final touchdown of the night completed by #11, William Bodrey. At this point, the Wildcats would send in their younger players for valuable experience.

The Rebels would manage to run in one more touchdown towards the end of the fourth quarter, bringing the final score to 52-12, Crisp Academy.

The Crisp Academy Wildcats will have their Homecoming game next Friday against David Emmanuel Academy, beginning at 7:00 PM.
