CORDELE —  Lee Oscar Bodrey, 75, died at Crisp Regional Hospital Wednesday night, Nov. 9, 2016. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 13, 2016 in the chapel of Hughes & Wright Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Arabi Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 1 p.m. The family will also meet at their home after the services at 198 Simmons Dairy Rd., Cordele, Ga. 31015.

He was born in Cordele, Ga. to Oscar Lee and Zelma Gertrude Clark Bodrey. He is the widower of Mary Ann Bodrey. He was a retired electrician for Arabi Mobile Homes. He enjoyed gardening, fishing and the beach. He was a member of the Lakeshore Baptist Church.

Mr. Bodrey is survived by his children: Cecil L. (Renee) Bodrey, Sr. and Cleo Ann (Ray) Huett all of Cordele; his siblings: William (Karen) Bodrey of Donaldsonville, Ga. and Dot Ingram of Pineview; his grandchildren: Cecil (Amy) Bodrey, Jr., Christie Robey, Christopher (Amanda) Huett, Christie (Andrew) Jones, Andrew Bodrey and Willie Bodrey; and several nieces and nephews.
