A graveside service for Ethelene Parker Whittle of Cordele will be held at 2:00 p.m.Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at Sunnyside Cemetery. Ethelene, 81, passed away Monday, November 21, 2016 at Cordelia Manor. She was preceded in death by her husband Donnie Whittle.  Born in Fort Valley, GA, she was the daughter of the late Herman Parker and Ethel Darden Parker.  Ethelene was employed for a number of years at Service Supply Company and was later a homemaker. She was a member of Cordele First Baptist Church and was active inSunday School and the church choir. She loved her grandchildren, followed Georgia Tech football and enjoyed playing bridge. Ethelene is survived by her daughter and her husband, Donna and John Mast of Atlanta; and two grandchildren, a grandson and his wife, Ben and Jamie Warren and a granddaughter and her husband, Whitney and Tyler Jones, all of Atlanta.
