Sammy Juan Coleman

 

CORDELE — Sammy Juan Coleman, 63, passed away Thursday morning, Dec. 15, 2016 at Cordele Health and Rehab.  Funeral services will be held at 3:30 P.M. Sunday, Dec. 18, 2016in the chapel of Hughes & Wright Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Sandy Mount Cemetery.

Mr. Coleman was a native of Cordele, Ga. and the son to the late George Coleman and the late Thelma Williams Coleman. Mr. Coleman was predeceased by his son Brian Patrick Coleman and his sister Marilyn Worley. He was a retired police officer for the Blakely County Police Department and a member of the Baptist Faith.

He is survived by his siblings: Margie Albritton, Murray Coleman and his wife Debbie, Darrell Coleman and his wife Susan, Wayne Coleman and his wife Connie and Marion Coleman and his wife Janice all of Cordele, Ga.; grandchildren: Brian Coleman, Jr., Sara Jean Coleman and Kayla Coleman all of Blakely, Ga.
