Ronnie J. Youngblood

Ronnie J. Youngblood, age 73, of 255 Jalappa Road, Byromville, died Tuesday, December 20, 2016, at Crisp Regional Hospital in Cordele.

Born in Pitts, he was the son of the late Samuel Lawrence Youngblood and Evelyn Calhoun Youngblood.  He was a farmer, a real estate broker with Peachstate Realty, a certified general appraiser and owner of Jalappa Timber Company.  He was the former owner of Younblood Agency in Unadilla.  He served on the board of directors of Middle Georgia EMC for 31 years.  Ronnie was a member of Vienna First Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon.

He is survived by his wife, Ann B. Youngblood of Byromville; his daughters, Kristy Stephens (Matt) of Columbus and Kelly Blocker (Bill) of Warner Robins; his brother, Samuel Darrell Youngblood of Stockbridge; his grandchildren, Sam Stephens, Russ Stephens, Blake Blocker and Brayden Blocker.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Gerald T. Youngblood and Wayne M. Youngblood.

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Thursday, December 22 in Vienna First Baptist Church.  A private interment for family only will follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Cordele.

The family will greet friends one hour before the service in the church fellowship hall and may be contacted at 255 Jalappa Road, Byromville.
