A graveside service for Sara Gill Odom of Warwick will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 24, 2016 at Odom-Story Cemetery in Worth County. The family will receive friends prior to the service Saturday beginning at 9:30 a.m. at Rainey Family Funeral Services. Sara passed away Thursday at Pruitt Health Care in Sylvester. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Cossie Odom. Sara was born in Junction City, Talbot County and was the daughter of the late Martin E. Gill and Mattie Vera Pearson Gill. She was a homemaker and a member of Acorn Pond Baptist. She loved her family and enjoyed cooking and baking for them. Other times she enjoyed fishing and watching “her Braves.” Sara is survived by her children, two daughters, Linda Deariso of Sylvester and Sue Stephens and her husband, Zara, of Warwick and one son, Mike Odom and his wife, Barbara of Sylvester; four grandchildren, Todd Deariso, Kristie Pizzino, Kelly Collins and Melissa Edwards; and five great-grandchildren, Kadin Pizzino, Jackson Edwards, Will Collins, Beau Edwards and Wade Collins.
