As I write this, I pray that someone will use this in their life to seek God for their needs, especially in these troubled times.

My eyesight started leaving me at the end of 2015.  I knew it was getting worse, but with no insurance and no resources, I felt I had nowhere to turn.

As the months went by, I became totally blind.  I finally just turned to God and started praying and attending church, hoping he would hear my prayers.  In the months that followed, I began to see, not physically, but mentally.  God was putting me on trial, testing my faith.

I accepted Christ as my Lord and turned my sight and my life over to Him.  I was denied disability and Medicaid, so things seemed hopeless.

One Sunday, our Pastor, Elder Brandon Hall with the Cordele House of God, delivered a sermon on not giving up.  Seek and ye shall receive.  I was really beginning to give up, but I continued to pray and took the message to heart.

God then stepped in and sent me, not one, but a band of angels called the Cordele Lions Club.  My prayers were finally answered.  They directed me to their corporate office called Lighthouse where my second angel, Victoria Jordan, came to my rescue.  As she worked for and with me, I was scheduled for eye surgery.

After two surgeries and with the help of Dr. Bret Wagenhorst and his staff in Tifton, I now have perfect eyesight.

I want to thank my loving and devoted husband, Dewey Jones; my Pastor, Elder Brandon Hall; my family; and my church family for all their support and love.  I thank God everyday, but I want to give a special thank you to the Cordele Lions Club, who made all of this possible and who has given me the best Christmas I could ever hope for.
