On January 31st at 6:30pm we will be holding the first organizational meeting of the Flint Area Historical Society. It is our hope that citizens of all walks in life from Crisp, Dooly,Lee, Worth and Sumter County will join us at the 16th East restaurant in Cordele. At that time will begin the task of organizing into a group for the purpose of the preservation of our history in this area of the state.As of now nothing not even name is set in stone. It is my hope that many in this area who love history as much as I do will join me this most worthwhile endeavour.  Joe Joe Wright
