Senior Night
Girls:
FA 49 –  SCA 19
We continued to do what we have all year and came out playing great defense and jumped out to leads of 23-4, 5-0, and 12-4 in the first 3 quarters before getting our young players some time in the 4th
quarter.  We played mostly man and had Sarah Kate Wall on their best player and she held her to only one 2-point basket in the first half and only 7 points in the game. We struggled earlier in the year but we didn’t tonight.  We finished the season 23-2 by far one of the best regular seasons in a
while.  We head into region playoffs next week as the 1st seed.
Boys:
FA 64 – SCA 54
We honored our 5 seniors tonight and we also got the win for them on their last game at Fullington during the regular season.  We jumped out to a 20-11 lead after the 1st quarter behind timely scoring
and great defense that slowed down a team that scored 112 points against CFCA earlier in the week.  That lead turned out to be huge as both teams went back and forth the rest of the night.  Sam Evans
had a great night shooting scoring 23 with 5 – 3 pointers that came at huge times to kept us in control of the game. We did a great job controlling the pace and not letting them get us in a running game.
We finished the season 18-6 heading into the region tourney next week as the 1st place seed.
