Funeral services for Winfred Lee Campbell of Cordele will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 17, 2017 at Warwick United Methodist Church. The interment will follow in Warwick Methodist Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Thursday evening at Rainey Family Funeral Services. Winfred, 87, passed away Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at Magnolia Manor in Americus. Born in Louisville, AL he was the son of the late Hayward Lee and Shellie Benefield Campbell. He was employed by Jordan Company in Wildlife Management for over 30 years and was a member of Warwick United Methodist Church. He was an avid quail hunter and golfer and working his hunting dogs always gave him much pleasure. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Fanchon Brown Campbell of Cordele, two daughters Pam Campbell of Warwick and Donna Jackson and her husband, Victor of Lawrenceville; a granddaughter, Meghan Bortscheller; three nephews, Lee Campbell, Bill Campbell and Greg Wilson; and three nieces, Leisa Beam, Melanie Knause and Vickie Alcorn.
