Cougar Soccer Advances

The Crisp County Lady Cougars bowed out of the playoffs Wednesday with a 4-1 loss to the South East Bulloch Yellow Jackets. After a great season the ladies will hang up their cleats till next year. Hunter Meadows scored the lone goal for the Cougarettes.

In boys action the Cougars put on a scoring display against their S.E. Bulloch opponent out pacing the Yellow Jackets 7-3. Adam Posey knocked in 5 goals to lead the Cougars. Aultman Hurt and Kali Troup both put in a goal each in the win. Coach McGinnis said, “we really controlled the middle and played solid defense, we set our pieces and executed really well.” The Cougars are looking forward to their 2nd round match-up against East Hall who visits next week. So everyone come out and support the Cougars as they move into uncharted territory in soccer playoffs as the #1 seed.
