The Wildcats won their last regular season game Tuesday against Georgia Christian 7-4. William Bodrey picked up the win after William Purvis received a leg injury on a sharp hit ball off the shin. Purvis had 2 k’s in 2 innings and Bodrey picked up 7 k’s in 5 innings of work. Aaron Titshaw had a couple of hits and Bodrey, Purvis and Blake Odum all rapped doubles in the contest. Purvis also had two RBI’s. The big Cats open up the playoffs against 3-time defending state champion Piedmont beginning next Friday.
