Mr. James “Jim” Warren, Jr. 84, of Sylvester died Monday, May 1, 2017 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital.

The funeral service was held at 11:30 AM on Thursday, May 4, 2017 at Banks Funeral Home Chapel with interment following in Hillcrest Cemetery. The Rev. Donnie Duncan officiated.

Mr. Warren was born on September 21, 1932 in Worth County to the late James Wynton Warren, Sr. and Gladys Lillian Griner Warren. He had lived in Worth County all his life and was a retired Sales Territory Manager with RW Griffin, Inc. Mr. Warren graduated from the University of Georgia and was an avid Georgia Bulldog Football Fan. He loved to spend time outdoors hunting and fishing. Mr. Warren was a veteran having served in the United States Air Force. He was a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Sylvester.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia Lee Warren of Sylvester; daughter, Katherine Warren King (Tony) of Omaha, NE; brother, William G. Warren (Beverly) of Pensacola, FL; grandsons, Chase S.W. King, Brett H.W. King and numerous nieces and nephews.
