Saturday morning, April 30, members of the Crisp County Fire Rescue, Crisp County Sheriff’s Office, Cordele Realtors’ Board, and various members of several local, civic organizations came out to the Omar Heights area to participate in a smoke detector blitz.  The groups split up and went door to door to installing smoke detectors or checked that already installed detectors were working properly.
