Funeral services for Mildred B. Cauley of Cordele will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 3, 2017 in the chapel of Rainey Family Funeral Services with the committal service following in Sunnyside Cemetery.  The family will receive friends prior to the service Saturday beginning at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Mildred, 93,  passed away  Thursday, June 1, 2017 at Cordelia Manor. She was preceded in death by her husband, William C. Cauley and sisters, Margaret Wilson, Bobbie Bayard and Cora Lee “Bebe” Kemp. Born in Crisp County, she was the daughter of the late Luther Georgia Booth and Bessie Lee Poole Booth. She was a retired bookkeeper with Pet Dairy and had been a member of Cordele First Baptist Church for 81 years. She loved her church and traveling. Mildred was also a devoted fan of the Atlanta Braves and Georgia and LSU Football. She is survived by two sons and their wives, Cary and Marsha Cauley of Cordele and Jerry and Susan Cauley of Pineville, LA; three grandchildren and their spouses, Rachel and Quinton Diagre, Will and Kate Cauley and Erin Cauley; two great-grandchildren, Elliot Brocato and Zoe Brocato; and a dear sister-in-law, Evelyn Reddish and cousin, Glennis Ray.
