Jewel Passmore Spires Fedorovicz, 77, passed away Tuesday, June 27, 2017 at her residence in Arabi. Funeral  services will be held Friday, June 30, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of Rainey Family Funeral Services with the committal service following in Sunnyside Cemetery. The family will meet with friends Thursday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Jewel, the daughter of the late Billy Clarence and Gertrude Iona Helms Passmore, was born in Arabi. She was employed with the Crisp County School System in the Dietary Department and was a faithful member of Hatley Baptist Church. She loved her home and family and cooking all their favorite foods. The highlight of her day was sitting on her porch drinking coffee and watching the birds, especially her hummingbirds and martins. Jewel also enjoyed reading and crocheting. She is survived by her husband of seven years, Mickey Fedorovicz of Arabi; six children and their spouses, Steve and Marie Spires of Arabi, Gayle Gibbs and her fiance, Gary Greene of Morganton, NC, Roger Spires and Angie Hartley of Arabi, Connie and Jimmy Neighbors of Cordele, Lisa Odom of Arabi and Tia and Andy Hester of Ashburn; a brother and his wife, Ronnie and Sharon Passmore of Arabi; 12 grandchildren and their spouses, Nick and Becky Spires of Coverdale, Michael and Julie Spires of Bremen, Daniel Spires of Fitzgerald, Ryan and Hannah Barton of Cordele, Nicole and Jason McCombs and Stephanie and David Brittian, all of Morganton, Nick and Mandy Masters of Arabi, Alissa Odom of Arabi, Chase Hester, Haley Hester, Conner Davis and Brooke Hester, all of Ashburn; 11 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
