ARMED ROBBERY AT DOLLAR GENERAL

CORDELE – At around 8:30pm on Thursday evening another robbery took place at the 7th st Dollar

General.        

    This time Cordele City Police Officers were on the scene in virtually no time and got into a chase with the suspect. Other units responding included the Crisp County Sheriff’s Office and the GBI.

    The suspect is described as around 6’0 tall, slim body,  and wearing a grey hoodie and mask, was also brandishing a small caliber handgun.

     The robber ran into the area of the Cordele Dispatch approximately one block over in the 14th Avenue and 300 block region. It was here that it appears officers lost visual contact with him.

     A $7000.00 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of any of the suspects committing these armed robberies in Cordele.
