Just how cool is it to be in downtown Cordele around the Cordele Recreation Parlor better known as “Poolroom” and you get to hear authentic bongo drums playing.

Well Luqman Rahman (or “Rockman” as many of us call him), was born and raised in  Cordele.   

Rock as we say for short keeps the peace at the recreation department in the evenings as well.

Now he also teaches people a lost art of playing Bongo drums. Sunshine Rythmns was started not to get rich, but because as “Rock” says that ain’t happening;  but rather to bring a little culture to Cordele and teach the young and old something they will enjoy for years to come. “ I enjoy it says “Rock” I think others will as well.”
