A chase began in Peach County and traveled south on the interstate this morning around 1130 at speeds over 120 MPH. The suspect operating a motorcycle ran into the back of Trooper First Class Steve Bowen’s Patrol car around Milepost 96 causing the driver of the motorcycle to lose control. The suspect who suffered non life threatening injuries was transported to Crisp Regional Hospital. The investigation is continuing by Georgia State Patrol charges are pending in other counties as well.
