Dot Lacey Kreimeyer, 91, passed away Sunday, August 27, 2017, at her residence in Pitts. She was born January 19, 1926 in Orlando, Florida, to the late Joseph and Josephine Graf Zapp.

She served as secretary in the Wilcox County Schools and was was a retired office manager with Chemical Enterprises. She was a Catholic by faith and attended the Pitts United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Lacey, Jr. She is survived by her husband, John “Jack” Kreimeyer of Cordele; one son, Robert “Bob” Lacey III and his wife Ann of Valdosta; three daughters, Linda Wood and her husband Ronnie of Pitts, Kathy Burnette and her husband Edgar of Pitts, Dianne Lacey and her husband Chris Gooch of Nashville TN; four grandchildren, Dori Terry and husband Tracy of Rochelle, Wade Burnette and wife Danyle of Eastman, Bobby Lacey and wife Ashley of Valdosta, Taylor Lacey and wife Hays of Albany, eight great-grandchildren, Madison Terry Judson Terry, Gracelyn Terry, Adria Burnette, Audry Burnette, Asher Burnette, Harper Lacey and Charlotte Lacey.

There will be a graveside service at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, August 30, 2017, at Pitts Cemetery, with a time of visitation following the graveside service.

Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to the Pitts Cemetery Fund, 113 Cleveland Avenue, Pitts, Ga. which she oversaw for 30 + years.
