Funeral services for Tommy Massey of Cordele will be held at 4:00 p.m. Monday, September 18, 2017 at Unity Faith Church. Burial will follow at Union Baptist Church Cemetery in Wilcox County. The family will receive friends Sunday, September 17, 2017 at Rainey Family Funeral Services from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m. Tommy, 44, passed away Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at Crisp Regional Hospital.  Born in Cordele, he was the son of Nancy Camp Massey Kirkpatrick and the late Calvin Massey. Tommy was a repairman/handyman and a member of Unity Faith Church. He was an avid fisherman and hunter and always enjoyed cooking outdoors with family and friends. His greatest pleasure was sitting around a fire with the people he loved. Tommy is survived by his wife, Mindy Clements Massey of Cordele; his two sons, Christopher Massey and Tyler Massey, both of Cordele; his mother, Nancy Kirkpatrick of Cordele; his paternal grandmother, Laverne Ring of Fitzgerald; and his fur baby, Butter.
