12/15/17

On December 15, at 8: 45 p.m., Officer Brian Lewis responded to Wal-Mart located at 1215 E 16th Ave., and provided security during their cash withdrawals without incident.

At 8:52 p.m., Patrol Officer Hutchens responded to Pediatric Urgent Care located at 1007 E 16th Ave., in reference to an alarm. Hutchens checked the business upon arrival, but there was no incident.

At 6:07 p.m., Officer Baldree conducted a bank escort from Flint River Pottery to Planter’s First Bank that concluded without incident.

At 9:31 p.m., Officer Jimmy Banks was dispatched to 820 E 4th Ave. for a panic alarm. Upon arrival, Officer Banks spoke to Johnnie Rhodes where he stated that it was accidental and was apologetic.

At 9:43 p.m., Patrol Officer Hutchens responded to the 600 block on 7th St N in reference to a dog running loose. Upon Officer Hutchens’ arrival, the complainant Billy Pearson stated that he had seen a white dog running and about to get hit by a vehicle and that’s when he called 911. Hutchens took the dog and called Animal Control Officer Stokes. Stokes met Hutchens at the shelter and took the dog inside.

At 11:46 p.m., Officer Hutchens responded to a bank escort at Captain D’s located at 1710 E 16th Ave. Upon arrival Hutchens escorted the employee to the bank without incident.

12/16/17

On December 16, at 7:21 a.m., an officer was dispatched to 712 Cloverdale Circle in reference to a disturbance.

At 11:36 a.m., police responded to a disturbance at 1007 S 14th St.

At 3:02 p.m., an officer was dispatched to 1507 Oconee Circle in reference to a security inspection. Upon arrival the officer made contact with some juveniles who advised that they saw a male subject on a horse shoot a dog and leave the area. The officer patrolled the area in an attempt to locate the subject but was unsuccessful.

On December 17, at 3:16 p.m., a Patrol Officer responded to 807 Broad Street Apartment F in reference to criminal trespass. Upon arrival, the officer spoke with the resident about someone damaging his back door and screen to the rear window of his residence.
