Mrs. Cheryl Blizzard, age 61, of Montezuma, Georgia passed away on Monday, December 25, 2017 at her residence.

Services were held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, December 29, 2017 at the Oglethorpe Baptist Church in Oglethorpe, Georgia. Rev. Chet Ragsdale and Rev. Richard Taylor officiated. Family received friends at the church one hour prior to the service. Burial followed at Oglethorpe Memorial Gardens in Oglethorpe, Georgia.

She was born on February 6, 1956 in Vienna, Georgia to the Thera Kelly Head and the late Allen Head, Jr.

Mrs. Cheryl was a very faithful and devoted member of Oglethorpe Baptist Church. She was employed for over twenty-six years as an Office Manager with General Loan & Finance in Montezuma, Georgia.

Survivors include her beloved and devoted husband, Danny Blizzard of Montezuma, Georgia; two daughters, Cherie Blizzard Bennett and husband Glen of Forsyth, Georgia and Courtney Blizzard Palmer and husband, Bo of Cumming, Georgia; one son, Charles Daniel Blizzard, Jr. and wife, April of Sharpsburg, Georgia; one sister, Jan Saunds and husband, Danny of Darien, Georgia and three brothers; Jack Head and wife, Carol of Roswell, Georgia, Mike Head and wife, Sandra of Macon, Georgia, and Steve Head and wife, Vicky of Seneca, South Carolina. Also surviving are five grandchildren; Elizabeth Bennett, Henry Palmer, Grayson Bennett, Gabriel Blizzard and Lena Blizzard along with many nieces and nephews.
