John Louis “Jack” Kreimeyer

John Louis “Jack” Kreimeyer, age 97 of Cordele, passed away Thursday, January 18, 2018 in the Crisp Regional Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, January 20th in the M. G. Frazier Memorial Chapel of Frazier and Son Funeral Home with military honors. Reverend Jimmy Black will officiate. Visitation will follow the service. Interment will be at a later date in the Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, Virginia.

Mr. Kreimeyer was born on April 4, 1920 in Utica, New York. He was son of the late Louis Kreimeyer and Mae Amelia Flaxman Kreimeyer. He was an Environmental Health Specialist with the U. S. Public Health was of the Presbyterian Faith. He was a member of the Lewis & Clark Masonic Lodge#132 32 degree, Bismark, ND and the Scottish Rite, McAlister, Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Zapp Kreimeyer. He served his country with honor during World War II in the United States Army.

Survivors include: son-John Louis Kreimeyer II of Colbert, Ga., daughters-Kathryn Kreimeyer (Ron Kelly), Tuson, Arizona, Edith Kreimeyer (Al Fisher) of Pine, Colorado, Jacqueline Wilson of Highlands Ranch, Colorado, and Elizabeth Permann of Seattle, Washington, 9-grandchildren and 2-great-grandchildren.

Music will be provided by Madison Terry.
