Jeanette Dominey, 87, of Cordele passed away Thursday, February 8, 2018 at Phoebe-Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany. She was preceded in death by her husband, B.F. Dominey and a brother, Randle Mygrant. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 10, 2018 at Union Baptist Church in Wilcox County. The committal service will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service Saturdayat the church beginning at 12:00 p.m. Jeanette was born in Pitts to the late William D. and Maggie Massey Mygrant. She was a produce manager at Big Star and Publix grocery stores. She had a sweet word for and about everyone she met. She loved flowers, reading and cooking and enjoyed sharing her wonderful meals with others. Most important to her and her passion in life was her grandchildren.  Jeanette is survived by three children and their spouses, Raymond and Jessie Dominey of Jacksonville, FL, Wendell and Jackie Dominey of Woodstock and Keith and Debbie Dominey of Albany;  eight grandchildren and their spouses, Jennifer and Michael Quaglietta, Christine Dominey, Don and Adella Dominey, Wendell, Jr. and Julissa Dominey, Amanda and Pedro Hurtado, Michelle and Eric Gibson, Martin  and Lorena Dominey and Michael Dominey; ten great-grandchildren Christopher Gibson and his wife, Jenny, Lauren Gibson, Dylan Dominey, Ashlyn Dominey, Brandon Dominey, Brianna Dominey, Tyler Dominey, Hayden Dominey, Nicholas Dominey, Reign Carrion and John Quaglietta; one great-great-grandchild, Nash Gibson; and a special cousin, Phyllis Phelps of Cordele.
