Nita Cagle, wife of leading conservative Republican candidate for governor Casey Cagle, stumped for the Cagle campaign in South Georgia today.

“I’m coming to Cordele and great cities like it across the state because I want voters to hear not just about Casey Cagle the candidate but also about Casey Cagle the person,” said Nita Cagle. “Casey is dedicated to the improvement of our state through conservative policies that strengthen our families as well as our economy. From our first date 34 years ago to today, I’ve seen him build on his natural leadership ability to serve Georgia, and I’ve seen a faithful Christian man who’s a devoted husband, father and grandfather. Casey and I are extremely blessed and humbled by the amount of support from this county and region. I want to personally thank everyone for coming out to let me talk about my husband and why I think he’s the right man for Georgia’s next governor.”

Nita attended a coffee meet and greet with local leaders at the Lake Blackshear Resort & Golf Club from 7AM to 9AM. Nita was hosted by the First Lady of the 13th district, Rosalyn Kirk, as well as Stella Williams Bailey, Connie Carney, Mary Kathryn Davis, Lee Ducksworth, Angie Ellis, Linda Harden, Candace Johnson, Fran Johnson, Lisa Leggett, Beth Patton, and Susan Wright.

Nita and Casey are high school sweethearts who have been married for 31 years. They reside in Hall County, and have three adult sons as well as three grandchildren.
