Sara Carolyn Wade Hall

CORDELE – Funeral services were held for Sara Carolyn Wade Hall, 86, at 3 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 25, 2018 at Antioch Baptist Church. Dr. John Smith officiated the services. Mrs. Hall’s grandson, James Hall, gave a short eulogy. The service concluded with a prayer by Rev. Don Cole. Burial followed in the Zion Hope Cemetery Annex. Mrs. Hall died early Friday morning, Feb. 23, 2018, at Crisp Regional Hospital.

 Kathy Hall, Mrs. Hall’s daughter-in-law, played the piano for the service. “I Can Only Imagine” was played during the service.

 Honoraring Mrs. Hall by serving as active pallbearers were: Nesbitt Hall, Jr., Charles Hardin, Justin Terry, Adam Terry, Chad Hall, Chase Hall, James Hall and Sarah Hall.

 Mrs. Hall was born in Arabi, Ga. to James Herschel Wade and Viola Stone Wade. She was the widow of Edward “Edd” Aaron Hall and is preceded in death by her brother, William Grady Wade. She was a retired clerk for B. C. Moores. She was a long time member of Antioch Baptist Church, the Pateville Community Club and Norman College graduate.

She is survived by her two sons: Derwin W. (Kathy) Hall of Arabi, Ga. and Jason E. (Eileen) Hall of Dunwoody, Ga.; her grandchildren: Chad (Anna) Hall, Clay (Stacey) Hall, Chase Hall, James Hall and Sarah Hall; her great-grandchildren: Ella Kate Hall and Elizabeth Carter Hall; and a sister-in-law: Betty E. Wade of Doraville, Ga.
