March 19, 2018

  • Officers responded to a criminal trespass at 813 Pateville Heights Circle. Upon their arrival the officers made contact with the complainant who stated that someone had damaged his 2006 SRX Cadillac. The complainant didn’t see who damaged his vehicle. He did state that he felt as if it was the mother of his child.
  • Officers responded to 1510 East 16th Avenue (Pizza Hut) in reference to a counterfeit $100 bill.
  • Officers responded to 602 S. 8th Street in reference to an entering auto. Upon their arrival the officers made contact with the complainant, he advised that someone had entered his toolbox with his authority and took several tools.

 

March 20, 2018

  • Officers served a warrant for Warren Evans of 809 S. 5th Street for failure to appear.

 

March 21, 2018

  • Officers responded to 602 Blackshear Road, Apt F in reference to a disturbance.
  • Officers responded to 1011 east 16th Avenue in reference to an accidental damage.
  • Officers were dispatched to 305 East 11th Avenue in reference to a burglary. Upon their arrival they made contact with the complainant who stated that someone had kicked open the back door (North) of her residence and had taken some items.
  • Officers responded to 602 West 13th Avenue in reference to a disturbance.

 

March 22, 2018

  • Officers responded to 610 Blackshear Road in reference to a disturbance.
  • Officers responded to 207 West 18th Avenue in reference to the theft of a back pack.
  • Officers observed a black in color Hyundai Santa Fe traveling South on I-75 at mile marker 102. The vehicle was traveling at precisely 89 mph, the speed limit for this road is 70 mph. The officer initiated a traffic stop with the vehicle and came to a final stop on Hwy. 300 and Frontage Road. The officer identified the driver of the vehicle as Barbara Faerber. Upon running her OLN number through GCIC the officer discovered her license was in fact suspended for failure to appear, and had a suspension date of August 8, 2014. Ms. Faerber advised that she was unaware of any prior citations that she would have received that would have resulted in a failure to appear. She was advised that this was an arrestable offense and that would have to be taken to the Crisp County LEC and post a cash bond. Faerber was arrested on the following charges; Speeding 89 mph in a 70 mph zone and Driving while license suspended first offence.
  • Officers made contact with a complainant at the Police Department that stated she was assaulted at Regions Bank in the parking lot near the ATM.
  • Officers responded to 807 East 28th Avenue in reference to an entering auto.

 

March 23, 2018

  • A complaint was made at the Police Department in reference to a stolen tag.
  • Officers responded to the area of 20th Avenue and 10th Street in reference to shots fired. Upon arrival the officers had negative contact with anyone shooting in the area.
  • Officers responded to 401 S. 10th Street (Cordele Housing Authority) in reference to an alarm. Upon their arrival, the officers walked around the building and located a side door had been damaged. The glass interior door had been shattered but no entry was made inside of the building.

 

March 24, 2018

  • Officers responded to an entering auto at 909 Broad Street, Apt. F. Upon their arrival, the officers spoke with the complainant who advised that when she came out to get in her car to go to work she saw the inside of the car in disarray. The complainant advised that someone had entered her car sometime throughout the night, without her permission and took several items.
  • Officers responded to 410 East 21st Avenue in reference to a disturbance.
  • Officers were dispatched to 607 East 17th Avenue in reference to a disturbance.
  • Officers responded to Clara Scott Apartments in reference to criminal trespass.
  • Officers responded to 1215 East 16th Avenue in reference to a criminal trespass.
  • Officers responded to 215 West 29th Avenue in reference to a disturbance that took place at 208 East 11th Avenue. Upon their first arrival the officers spoke with the complainant that stated that someone threw a bottle at her car.
  • Officers were dispatched to 601 West 11th Avenue in reference to a burglary.
  • Officers responded to 309 West 21st Avenue, Apt. B in reference to an harassment.

 

March 25, 2018

  • Officers were dispatched to 407 West 6th Avenue in reference to a trespasser.
  • Officers were dispatched to 701 North 1st Street in reference to a disturbance.
  • Officers responded to 813 West 22nd Avenue in reference to a disturbance. Upon their arrival, further investigation resulted a female victim alleging she was assaulted by her boyfriend who left the scene prior to the officer’s arrival. After speaking with neighbors and getting statements from the victim, the male offender, Anfernee Deontae Hicks, who later returned to the residence was arrested and charged with simple battery.
  • Officers responded to 309 West 21st Avenue, Apt. B in reference to a disturbance.
