Funeral services for Mary Louise Jackson Odom of Warwick will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 30, 2018 at Warwick United Methodist Church. The committal service will follow in Warwick Methodist Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service Friday beginning at 10:00 a.m. in the church social hall. Louise, 81, passed away Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at Phoebe-Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Don Odom and siblings, James Jackson and Carolyn Hendley.  Born in Arabi, she was the daughter of the late James Artis and Celia Florene Bolin Jackson. Louise was retired from First State Bank of Cordele where she was employed for over 40 years. She had been an integral member and part of her church, Warwick United Methodist, where she sang in the choir and was a member of the UMW. She served on numerous committees and worked in all aspects of the church through the years, including being responsible for the church bulletins. Louise was involved with “Fishes and Loaves” an important outreach program, and volunteered with GIP in Warwick. She was a past member of Crisp Regional Hospital Auxiliary and worked with and helped to start the blood drive in Warwick. She was also an active member of the Grandparents Club of Crisp Academy.  Louise is survived by her children, a son and his wife, Don and Dawn Odom and a daughter and her husband, Teresa and Jeffrey Smith, all of Cordele;  four grandchildren, Madison Odom, Peyton Odom, Jake Smith and Amanda Smith; a brother and his wife, Harold and Dot Jackson of Cordele, and several nieces and nephews.
