Funeral services for Trooper Tyler Davis Parker #106, 23, were held at 2 p.m., Sunday, March 25, 2018 in Crisp County Middle School Auditorium. Rev. Mike Dorough officiated the service assisted by Rev. Richard Williams, Col. Mark A. McDonough, Capt. Buddy Johnson, Jacob Posey and Scott Alexander. Burial followed at Sunnyside Cemetery officiated by Sheriff Billy Hancock and Rev. Mike Dorough.

Eric Parker, pianist, played before the service began. Capt. Buddy Johnson sang “When I Get Where I’m Going.”  “Thou O Lord” and “I Can Only Imagine” were played during the service.

Tyler was given honors by the Georgia State Patrol Honor Guard, of which he was a member. Assisting them were pallbearers: Chris Forsyth, Travis Pollock, Brent West, Brett Broxton, Breon King, Jett Coptsias, Chase McNeese and Koby Odom.

Serving as honorary pallbearers were members of the law enforcement and first responders from throughout the State of Georgia.
