The building where Railside Restaurant and Reese’s used to be burned Sunday morning, July 8.  Unadilla Fire Rescue received the call at about 8:45 a.m. The building was vacant at the time of the fire and no one was hurt. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation by the building owner’s insurance investigator. The fire was completely out by approximately 2:54 p.m. on July 8. Fire fighters had to return to the burn three times before it was completely out. Along with Unadilla Fire Rescue, Pinehurst, Byromville, Drayton, Dooly County State Prison and Vienna Fire Departments assisted in putting out the fire.
