Betty Bloodworth, age 86 of Rochelle, passed away Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, July 27, 2018 in the Friendship Baptist Church. Reverend Jerry Jarrell and Reverend Buford Tanner will officiate. Interment will be in the family plot in the Friendship Cemetery.

Mrs. Bloodworth was born on October 17, 1931 in Pineview, Ga. She was daughter of the late Jasper Cason and Nettie Collins Cason. She was a homemaker and member of the Friendship Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, H. G. “Pete” Bloodworth in 2016 and a brother, Allan Cason in 2017.

Survivors include: sons-Roy Bloodworth of Rochelle, Jay (Tracie) Bloodworth of Rochelle and Jon (Gala) Bloodworth of Rochelle, daughter-Sarah Alice (Dave) Crawford of Newnan, brother-Lamar Cason of Warner Robins, 8-grandchildren, 3-great-grandchildren and special caregivers-Missy McKinney, Barbara Jean Roberts and Pruitthealth Hospice.

Visitation will be from 6-8 PM Thursday, July 26^th in the funeral home.

The family request that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Pruitthealth Hospice, 708 16^th Avenue East, Cordele, Ga. 31015.
