Cordele Police Department Reports July 27 through July 29

On July 27, at approximately 2:18 a.m., Cordele Police Department conducted a traffic stop in reference to a traffic violation. The driver was issued a citation and released from the scene. 37-year-old Latonya Jones was arrested on charges of No Proof of Insurance. The case is cleared by arrest.

On July 27, at approximately 10:43 p.m., Cordele Police Department responded to the address 908 E 16th Ave. in reference to a disturbance. 27-year-old Erica Collins was arrested on charges of Criminal Trespass.

On July 28, at approximately 2:14 a.m., Cordele Police responded to Waffle House located on 1007 ARC Way in reference to a theft. The case is still active pending video footage.

On July 29, at approximately 2:53 p.m., Cordele Police responded to 318 W 28th Ave. in reference to a disturbance. Upon arrival Cordele Police made contact with the complainant. The complainant stated that her daughter, Jacambra Morrison and another woman were fighting. Investigation revealed that Morrison was in a fight with Robyn Butts. Both women were cited for Disorderly Conduct. Butts had a warrant for her arrest for Probation Violation through the Wilcox County Sheriff’s Office. Butts was transports to the Crisp County Sheriff’s Office and turned over to the jail waiting for Wilcox to pick her up.

On July 29, at approximately 4:15 a.m., Cordele Police responded to a residence located on W 21st. Ave. in reference to a disturbance. No arrest was made due to insufficient probable cause.

On July 28, at approximately 1:08 a.m., Cordele Police responded to a residence located on S 10th St. in reference to a disturbance.
