Job Fair Coming Tuesday to SGTC Cordele Campus

Nearly 30 different employers will participate in a job fair on Tuesday, Aug. 28 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at South Georgia Technical College’s Crisp County Center.

All State Truck Stop, Big Tex, Cracker Barrel, Crisp Regional Hospital, Dooly State Prison, Flex-Tec, Golden’s Foundry, Helena Industries, Ingo Money, and Innovative Senior Solutions will be among the area businesses seeking employees.

Job recruiters are looking to fill a wide variety of open positions in a number of professions: Certified Nursing Assistants, Licensed Practical Nurses, Registered Nurses, autobody repair technicians, cafeteria aides, psychiatric techs, machine operators, forklift operators, CNC lathe operators, welders, CDL drivers, correctional officers, telecommunications engineers, customer service representatives, admissions/marketing representatives, social service workers, advanced bookkeepers, accountants, and more.

Tuesday’s job fair is planned in cooperation with the Georgia Department of Labor, the Cordele-Crisp County Chamber of Commerce, and the Cordele-Crisp County Industrial Development Council.
