Memorial services for Josh Garland will be held Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at 10:00 a.m in the chapel of Hughes & Wright Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday, October 2, 2018 from 6:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m.

 Josh, 39, died Friday, September 28, 2018. He was a member of the  Cordele First Baptist Church. Josh was an electrician with Gardner Electric. He enjoyed being with his family and watching Florida Gators and Philadelphia Eagles football.

Josh is survived by his wife: Nikki Garland of Cordele, Ga., his mother and step-father Denise and Larry Worthy of Cordele, Ga.. his father and step-mother Gary and Kathleen Garland of Warminster, Pa., a brother Zack Garland of Columbus, Ga. a nephew Cofer Garland and grandfather Denzil Cofer. step-brothers; Nic Worthy, Jared Worthy, Ben Worthy, Brendan Lockard, Ryan Lockard and Sean Lockard.
