Federal Emergency Management Agency rebuilding specialists will be on hand at the Cordele Home Depot from Monday through Saturday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Homeowners can get free reference booklets on cost-effective rebuilding and repair techniques to make homes more resistant to natural disasters.

FEMA disaster survivor assistance specialists will also be on hand to speak with residents about individual recovery assistance. These experts can help register homeowners and renters who sustained uninsured or underinsured losses from Hurricane Michael for federal disaster assistance if they are eligible.

The deadline for Georgians to apply for individual disaster recovery assistance is Thursday, December 13.
