Mrs. Rouse was born on April 27, 1933 in Rochelle. She was daughter of the late Henry Mullis and Izetta Smith Mullis. She was a homemaker and member of the Vienna Church of God. She was a passionate person and loved her animals and family, but most of all she loved the Lord.

Survivors include: son-Dennis (Judy) Gibbs of Byron, daughters-Patsy (Roy) Faircloth of Pitts, Jimmy Lynn (Mark) Harden of Rochelle, Carol Gibbs of Pitts and Debbie Gibbs of Tifton, 9-grandchildren, 12-great-grandchildren, 2-great-great-grandchildren and a very special friend, Doris Rountree.
