Schools in Crisp and Dooly counties will be closed tomorrow due to the impending storms forecast for Friday. Wilcox County schools had already scheduled Friday as a holiday in observance of Good Friday.

The National Weather Service (NWS) is advising that storms with winds of up to 80 mph could hit the area sometime between 3 a.m. and 9 a.m. on Friday. The NWS is also cautioning that the storm may cause tornadoes in central and southwest Georgia.
