Two injured in Friday afternoon wreck

- At least two people traveling on 8th Street near the intersection with 22nd Ave. were transported by EMS to Crisp Regional Hospital after an accident Friday afternoon involving a pickup truck and a passenger car. The injuries did not appear to be life-threatening. The cause of the wreck has not yet been determined, but the passenger car wound up in the yard of a nearby residence between the home and a tree.
