Funeral services for Patsy Ann Pearson of Perry, and a former long-time resident of Cordele, will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, August 1, 2019 in the chapel of Rainey Family Funeral Services. Burial will follow in Sunnyside Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service Thursday beginning at 10 a.m. at the funeral home.

Patsy, 73, passed away Monday, July 29, 2019 at Heart of Georgia Hospice in Perry. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eddie Pearson; brothers, Jack Sheffield and Billy Sheffield; and a grandson, Vincent Fallin. She was born in Wilcox County and was the daughter of the late William and Margaret Virginia Henry Sheffield.

Patsy was a cosmetologist (RET) and a member of the Baptist faith, which helped her to face adversities in life head-on. She loved and enjoyed life and enjoyed nothing better than playing jokes and pranks on those she loved. Her greatest love was her grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughters, Sherry Baldree of Virginia, Barbara Fallin and her husband DeWayne of Washington and Virginia Dupraw of Warner Robins; a brother, Charles Sheffield; two sisters and their husbands, Shirley and Billy Persall and Frances and Charles Adams, all of Cordele; three grandchildren, Christopher Dupraw, William Baldree and Patrick Fallin; and a great-granddaughter, Tatum Grace Dupraw.
