Funeral services for Maggie Martin Ingram of Cordele were held at 4 p.m. Tuesday, August 6, 2019 in the chapel of Rainey Family Funeral Services with Rev. Walter Hedstrom officiating. Sandra Alexander, pianist, provided music. Rev. James Kelley sang “It Is Well With My Soul” and “I Bowed On My Knees And Cried Holy.” Pallbearers were Andy Clark, Roger Pollock, Logan Priest, Drake Priest, Michael Pollock and Conner Priest. The interment followed in Ebenezer Cemetery.

Maggie, 89, passed away Monday, August 5, 2019 at Crisp Regional Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband, Adair Ingram. She was born in Cordele and was the daughter of the late Joe Abb Martin and Annie Catherine Poole Martin. A devout Christian, she was an active member of Bible Methodist Church. Maggie had been employed with Perlis Realty for 45 years.

She is survived by her son and his wife, Joe and Karen Ingram of Hobe Sound, Fla.;  two daughters, Kay Ingram and Debbie Kennedy and her husband, Ronnie, all of Cordele;  a brother, William Martin of Cordele; two sisters, Marie Crawford of Cordele and Ruth Morrison of Dallas, Texas;  a granddaughter, Michelle Priest of Cordele; and three great-grandchildren, Logan Priest, Drake Priest and Caleb Priest.
