A graveside service for Ann Farrow, 84 of Cordele, will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, September 7, 2019 at Penia Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service Saturday from 10 a.m. until 11:15 a.m. at Rainey Family Funeral Services.

Ann passed away peacefully Saturday, August 31, 2019 at Fellowship Home of Cordelia Manor in Cordele. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Farrow, a son, David Roy Farrow and siblings Bo Roberts, Christine Roberts and Bertie Turner. Ann was born in  Rochelle and was the daughter of the late W. Harve Roberts and Mary Coleman Roberts. A member of Cordele First United Methodist Church, she was retired from Sears where she had been the service department manager for over 30 years. A giving person to all she knew, she was the devoted and loving caregiver to her father-in-law for many years. Her passion in life though was her family, especially her granddaughters.

Ann is survived by her three daughters and their husbands, Rhonda and Steven Wheat of Goodland, Kan., Peggy and Al Dixon of Richmond Hill and Janice and Mitch Mitchell of Cordele; six granddaughters, Mallory (William) Edwards, Brittany Wheat (Tyler Fulling), Kellie Dixon, Carol Anne Mitchell (Trippe Winters), Morgan Dixon and Ila Mitchell; two great-granddaughters, Amelia Fulling and Margaret Edwards; and several nieces and nephews.
