PRESS RELEASE FROM CRISP COUNTY WATER SYSTEM: Georgia EPD Declares Level 1 Drought Response. This calls for all citizens and water customers to conserve water. This also serves as a reminder for all Georgians to use water wisely. There are 103 counties listed in the Drought Response and Crisp County is included, as well as those parts of Sumter and Worth counties that are served by the Lake Blackshear Area Water System. The Water Stewardship Act of 2010 remains in place and unchanged. It limits outdoor water use year round to the hours between 4 p.m. and 10 a.m. If you have any questions please call 229-276-2388 or look online at www.crispcounty.com under the ‘Public Notice’ link.
