Funeral services for Carol Worley McKinney were held at 11 a.m. Friday, December 6, 2019 at Arabi Baptist Church. Rev. Johnny Evans conducted the service. Kathy Ruff provided music and accompanied Dennette McDaniel as she sang “How Great Thou Art” and “I’ll Fly Away.” She sang “Amazing Grace” at the close. Pallbearers were Torie Worley, Koby Worley, Robert Worley, John Wayne Worley, Philip Worley and Austin McKinney. Serving as honorary pallbearers were deacons of the church, members of the Adult Sunday School Class and Malissa Nelms, James Nelms, Bobbie Barfield and Mary Ann Gilbert.

Carol, 86,  passed away Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at Crisp Regional Hospital. Born in Crisp County, she was the daughter of the late Frank W. Worley and Edna Prevatt Worley. She was also  preceded in death by her husband, Baxter Carter McKinney and two children, a son, Frank William McKinney and a daughter, Angela McKinney. She was a teacher(RET) in the Crisp County School System and an active member of Arabi Baptist church. She loved teaching and children and was an avid Atlanta Braves fan. Carol had at one time been a hospice volunteer. She also loved to bake and share her goodies and her time with those that needed her. She loved her family and her church family. Carol is survived by her son and his wife, Lynn and Twila McKinney of Arabi.
