Carolyn, 79, passed away Friday, January 17, 2020 at Navicent Health Center Macon. Born in Cordele, she was the daughter of the late John William and Mattie Frances Harp Lindsey. She was also preceded in death by a brother Raymond Lindsey. A devout Christian lady, she loved her Lord and her family. She was an active member of Isabella Baptist Church in Sylvester. With a smile on her face, she was the “ultimate homemaker” always in teaching mode to show everyone how to do chores and jobs around the house. She loved music and was always there to support her husband and his gospel group, Southern Majesty, wherever they may be singing. Flowers were a huge part of her life. What started as a hobby for her and Leon, planting flowers in the yard just for the beauty of their home, ended being a “job” for them selling to many florists in the area.  Carolyn is survived by her husband of 59 years, George Leon Moore of Warwick; two children Kevin Moore and his wife, Sharon of Warner Robins and Kimberly M. Littleton of Leesburg (Chad); four grandchildren and their spouses, Will and Tiffany Hinnant, Chad and Becky Hinnant, Kandis and Adam York and Devin and Keith Wisham; eight great-grandchildren; and a sister, Glenda Lindsey of North Carolina. Arrangements were by Rainey Family Funeral Service. An online guest register is available at www.raineyfuneral.com
